Jarvinia – Gippsland – Breeders of the magnificent Long Stock Coat German Shepherd Dog
We are fortunate to be the proud owners of Australian Champion Stobar Yalina – AKA Sophie bred by Stobar Kennels in Victoria. Sophie joined our family in 2015 and what a whirlwind adventure we have been on since. Competing in many German Shepherd Dog (GSD) Specialty Shows and completing obedience classes with huge success and multiple Excellent Medallions achieved. At the 2019 GSD State Exhibition Show Sophie was awarded with the highest grading possible and was the first Long Stock Coat (LSC) bitch in Victoria to receive the Excellent Merit by GSD specialty judge Mrs. Jenny Yuen.
Sophie has also achieved the coveted Speciality LSC Show Bitch of the year in Victoria 2017, 2018 and 2019 which is quite an achievement. Due to covid this award was not available in 2020.
To add to this Sophie has produced 2 litters of which we have kept 2 beautiful bitches Millie and Razz we continue to show and compete at the highest level.
We adhere to all the German Shepherd Dog Club of Australia breed standard and Breed Survey Improvement Scheme requirements and only breed with GSD’s that have met the high standards required to attain this certification. This includes hip and elbow x-ray (A-Z) passes, temperament testing, conformation, self-assuredness and gun testing. They have also achieved the Working and Character assessment certificates.
Our girls live with us and are a huge part of our family and are included in all our activities.
