What happens at a Breed Survey ?

The Objective of Breed Survey is to promote and offer guidance for the uniform development of the German Shepherd Dog and to improve its inherent working abilities.
Dogs and bitches will be Breed Surveyed classification if it is expected that they will contribute to the overall improvement of the breed in Australia.

For those intending to breed with their dogs, breed survey is a valuable asset – the dog has their hips and elbows x-rayed and their conformation is assessed against the breed standard.
