Barry Cotton (Vic)
My first introduction to the world of Obedience started in 1987 when the family got a Australian cattle dog puppy which quickly became a naughty puppy so we went off to the local obedience club (Berwick Obedience Dog Club) and as he progressed through the classes i became hooked on obedience and the club. The family progressed to Border collies and three of them have gone into obedience trials with some success.
Over the years i have performed many roles at the club from President, Secretary, and instructor and equipment manager on club days.
I am now a full panel Obedience Judge having completed the UDX license in 2016.
Since gaining my judges licence I have enjoyed judging many obedience trials around Victoria.
I look forward to judging at the 2019 German Shepherd dog council of Australia National and I wish all the competitors well in what they have entered, but most importantly lets make sure we have fun doing it.
