Buddy Spohn is the founder of Lateral K9 Training. Buddy previously served as Operations Manager at Pro Dog Training, one of Australia’s largest indoor training centres, where he worked with hundreds of dogs across every temperament and training goal.
With extensive experience in dog reactivity, competition obedience, and scent work, Buddy is known for his practical, mechanics driven approach to handling and behaviour. He specialises in high drive and working dogs, and owns a Belgian Shepherd that showcases his training philosophy in action.
Buddy’s passion is helping handlers understand how to channel drive into productive, controlled outlets, creating clearer communication, better performance, and more harmonious living with their dogs.
