The GSDCV is pleased again to provide our annual Breed Seminar, an opportunity for members to get together, listen to our knowledgeable guest speakers and take the opportunity to learn more about our breed.
Steve Moore from Bureau of Animal Welfare/DPI
Steve will give an outline of the Victorian legislation affecting dog ownership and dangerous dog laws,
and will be happy to answer any questions you may have
Dr Karen Hedberg
Karen will speak on hereditary diseases common in the breed (including degenerative myelopathy),
DNA testing, and the long coat gene in German Shepherds.
The GSDCA President and Victorian Breed Surveyor/Judge, Vince will present an interactive discussion
on bloodlines and stud dogs in Australia. Input from local breeders is welcomed
BBQ lunch available after first session, expected finish by 5.00pm
$10 per head includes lunch and tea/coffee
