Lort Smith Donation Update

Recently the German Shepherd Dog Club of Victoria (GSDCV) donated toys and much needed playtime goodies to the Lort Smith Animal Hospital. The goodies will help the mental health welfare of the dogs and cats during their time at Lort Smith. The GSDCV was pleased to support the Lort Smith Animal Hospital, and the Club welcomes the help and support of the Vets from Lort Smith who attend the GSDCV Endurance Trial each year, to monitor the health of the dogs.

Attending on behalf of the GSDCV were Club President Dom Cafari and Obedience Training Coordinator Marilyn Wrigley, along with Andrew Saliba with Mac and Anca Tilea with Mia, who both successfully completed the Endurance Trial in 2010. Young pup Stella came along for the day too! The pics below show the trailer full of goodies delivered to a grateful Lort Smith Animal Hospital, along with a cash donation from the GSDCV club. Lort Smith CEO Liz Walker and Animal Welfare Manager Kelly Hobbs accepted the gifts.

Mac, who is pictured below, competed in the 2010 Endurance Trial, so had even more reason to enjoy attending the presentation and helping to hand over the gifts. The GSDCV hope that the gifts donated provide a little more enjoyment for the dogs and cats while they await new homes
